MUNICH - 16 April 2026 - Global law firm Greenberg Traurig is strategically expanding its corporate tax, fund structuring, and family offices advising capabilities in Germany, adding Sebastian Leidel to its Tax Practice. The experienced tax lawyer will join Greenberg Traurig's Munich office as a shareholder April 16.
Leidel has been with Noerr since 2019, most recently as an associated partner, and previously worked at Linklaters. He advises domestic and international clients on tax issues related to mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and real estate transactions, restructurings, and joint ventures, as well as on fund structuring and fund investments. He also has deep experience advising family offices on asset and wealth management and on corporate and estate succession. His clients include the AllPure Group, which owns the fitness fashion brand TEVEO.
Leidel will be the third shareholder in the German Tax Practice, joining Georg von Wallis and Claudia Stremel. His arrival will strengthen not only corporate and investment tax advice in Germany, but also Greenberg Traurig's international practice for family offices and private wealth services.
Richard A. Rosenbaum, Executive Chairman of Greenberg Traurig, said: "Sebastian's move to Greenberg Traurig reflects our global strategy to consistently expand our advisory services in the areas of investment funds, transactions, and wealth management - areas in which we are already exceptionally well-positioned worldwide. In Germany, we are steadily expanding our leading position by strategically recruiting attorneys who work at the highest professional level and who also fit into our unique firm culture. We are a firm that grows through the careful selection of excellent talent, whom we empower to do what is best for our clients and our firm, always with a focus on the demands of the local market."
Peter Schorling, managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig's Berlin office, commented: "With Sebastian's specialized expertise and his strong network in the areas of fund and investment taxation, as well as his work advising family businesses and family offices, we are significantly strengthening our offering. As the second shareholder to join our Munich office since its opening last year, his arrival underscores our ambitious growth strategy."
Leidel said: "Greenberg Traurig has a global platform and a dynamically growing team that opens entirely new opportunities. I was particularly impressed by the close networking with colleagues both domestically and abroad and the opportunity to work with an excellent tax law team to provide clients with multidisciplinary support on complex and cross-border projects."
