Armenian State Officials on a Study Visit to Brussels Hosted by the Mission of Armenia

Within the framework of a visit organized by the Europe Office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation for Armenian public servants, Ambassador Tigran Balayan received a delegation composed of representatives of various state institutions of the Republic of Armenia.

In his introductory remarks, Ambassador Balayan presented the agenda of the Armenia-EU strategic partnership, the mechanisms for its implementation, the ongoing work toward upcoming high-level summits, as well as the opportunities for expanding the partnership.

The Ambassador emphasized the importance of the EUMA, noting its role in strengthening border security. In the context of consolidating peace, the Washington agreements signed on 8 August 2025 were highlighted, underlining that all provisions of the Government of Armenia's "Crossroads of Peace" project are reflected in the joint declaration.

Regarding infrastructure projects, the Ambassador outlined the full potential of the "Trump Route" project, noting the readiness of international partners to provide support.

In response to questions from participants, Ambassador Balayan addressed efforts to counter hybrid threats, the ongoing work toward visa liberalization, as well as regional developments.
