TIF Funding Will Support Honan Park Improvements

Homan Square Community Center Park in North Lawndale will be improved through $600,000 in Tax Increment Financing (TIF) assistance approved by City Council today.
The Chicago Park District project at 3517 W. Arthington St. will upgrade the park's playground and create an outdoor fitness circuit and walking path.
Funding will be allocated from the Homan/Arthington TIF district for the entirety of project costs.
