UA President Pat Pitney gives her final address at the Fairbanks Rotary Club on March 19, 2026

The 2026 State of the University was held at noon on March 19, during the Fairbanks Rotary meeting. It was President Pitney's sixth and final State of the University address since being appointed interim president in 2020 and her fifth as the university system's 17th president.
