Statement from National Association of Clean Water Agencies CEO Adam Krantz on Senate Water Infrastructure Package

(WASHINGTON) "NACWA applauds the important bipartisan progress the Senate Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committee has made through Monday's reauthorization effort. This proposal to reauthorize key initiatives including the Clean Water State Revolving Fund and the Water Infrastructure and Innovation Act program demonstrates a strong commitment to support public clean water utilities and the essential services they provide for their communities' economic, environmental, and public health" said Adam Krantz, CEO of the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA).

"There has not been a time when a strong federal funding commitment has been more important as clean water utilities and the customers they serve struggle with significant affordability challenges. NACWA thanks Chairman Capito and Ranking Member Whitehouse for their bipartisan leadership on this important legislation, and thanks all EPW Committee members for recognizing the importance of federal support for clean water investment. We look forward to continuing to work with the EPW Committee to advance this important and timely bill."
