The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a resurfacing project will be performed on Route 229 in Southington and Bristol from Sommers Hill Drive to Ronzo Road. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, November 10 and be completed on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. The project DOT01710506CN consists of resurfacing Route 229 in Southington and Bristol from Sommers Hill Drive to Ronzo Road. This project is scheduled to begin the resurfacing segment of this project by Tilcon Connecticut is anticipated to begin on Monday, November 10 to Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

This project is included in CTDOT's 2025 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
