Individual Assistance, Public Assistance and Damage Assessment Training

Dates: May 13-15, 2025. Time: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. ET. Location: Jefferson Couty EMA (Madison).

Description:

The course will prepare emergency managers and staff to perform FEMA Individual Assistance (IA) and Public Assistance (PA) damage assessments. The course will also provide an overview of the Individual and Public Assistance Program. The IA portion will be approximately 7.5 hours and cover overview of the recovery process, FEMA damage assessments and U.S. SBA damage assessments. The PA portion will be approximately 15 hours and cover overview of public assistance, Public Assistance damage assessments, impact statements, Public Assistance Request for Assistance forms, applications and grants portal.
