Road Closures at Lazo Road and Torrence Road Intersection beginning February 23

The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD), as part of the Comox Valley Sewer Conveyance Project, is required to close a section of Lazo Road beginning Monday, February 23, 2026, to facilitate construction of the sewer forcemain (MAP 1). The construction zone will be closed to all traffic, February 23 - 27, including bike and pedestrian traffic, 24/hrs day.

Beginning March 2, 2026, for approximately six to eight weeks, portions of Torrence Road and Lazo Road, near the Torrence/Lazo intersection will be closed for construction to all traffic, including bike and pedestrian traffic, 24/hrs day (MAP 2).

Residents of Torrence Road will be able to enter and exit from their residences.
