MEMA Alert...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR NORTH FACING SHORES OF KAUAI OAHU MOLOKAI AND MAUI... .A large short-period northwest swell will peak tonight into Thursday morning and will be followed by a large medium period north to north-northwest swell Thursday afternoon into Friday.
...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM HST FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Surf rising up to 12 to 16 feet along north facing shores.
* WHERE...North facing shores of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, and Maui.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM HST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents
will make swimming dangerous.
