GRAND RAPIDS, MI - Today, U.S. Representative Hillary Scholten announced that she will launch a new Congressional Dialogue series in 2026. The program will consist of a number of community conversations, each focused on a different issue relevant to West Michigan, including health care, housing, immigration, data centers and protecting our environment.
"The news can be overwhelming these days, and it's hard to know where to turn for clear, concise information," said Rep. Scholten. "My Congressional Dialogue Series will be an opportunity to move beyond the talking points and the memes to understand what's really going on in Washington and what we can do about it. I will sit down with West Michiganders to discuss the issues that matter most to them: the skyrocketing cost of housing, access to health care, immigration, data centers, Social Security, and much more. Stay tuned for details."
The first installment in the Congressional Dialogue Series will take place on January 24th, 2026, at 6PM and will address the skyrocketing cost of housing.
