The Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority ("Metro"), in collaboration with the City of Pomona Art in Public Places Program and the dA Center for the Arts, are seeking Pomona-based artists for the Metro A Line Temporary Public Art Pilot Program.
The goal is to activate the Pomona North station as a welcoming space and public transportation resource. We are seeking local artists to create temporary public artwork at the Pomona North A Line Metro Station with an emphasis on community engagement.
This is only an interest form, and does not offer or guarantee any work or funding to execute public art. This pilot program is in the beginning stages, and we are only soliciting interested parties at this time.

Staff also presented a review of art-related council priorities for FY 26-27, the 2027 meeting schedule, and updates on the following ongoing projects: Kellogg Park, Civic Center, Siemens, Ganesha Park wood sculptures, Pomona Envisions the Future, and Iglesia de Pensamiento.
