Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) participated in the 35th Teachers' Day celebration on 23 September 2025 at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas, showcasing its initiatives in promoting financial literacy in Brunei Darussalam.

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, accompanied by members of the royal family, consented to visit BDCB's booth at the Teachers' Day exhibition. His Majesty was received and briefed by BDCB's Managing Director, Yang Mulia Hajah Rashidah binti Haji Sabtu, together with other BDCB senior management and officers, representatives from Financial Education Unit, Department of Curriculum Development, Ministry of Education, as well as students from Sekolah Menengah Masin and Sekolah Menengah Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam.

The booth presented Centsibly: Smart Money Habits, a teaching resource jointly developed by BDCB and the Ministry of Education. Building on the Brunei Darussalam Financial Literacy Competency Frameworks for School Children and Adults, it is designed as an accessible and structured tool for teachers and financial education providers to equip students in life-long skills such as budgeting, saving, debt, takaful and insurance, retirement planning, consumer protection, as well as digital and sustainable financial literacy. Centsibly reflects BDCB's commitment to strengthening financial resilience in Brunei Darussalam.

BDCB's booth also highlighted the recently launched Usinwise, the official brand for national financial literacy campaigns under the National Financial Literacy Council (NFLC). Usinwise embodies a shared national vision to build a financially savvy and resilient society, connecting Bruneians to trusted, accessible financial education.
