Commission Awards Contracts for Southeast District Projects…

SIKESTON - The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on Feb. 4. The contracts included pavement resurfacing and bridge replacements.

  • An $11,999,077 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Company for pavement resurfacing on Interstate 55 on the southbound lanes from Route 61 near Fruitland, Missouri, to Route 74 and on the northbound lanes from Route M near Scott City, Missouri, to Route 61 near Fruitland, Missouri, in Cape Girardeau County.
  • A $1,363,620 contract was awarded to Robertson Contractors, Inc., for the following:
    • A bride replacement on Route 25 over Drainage Ditch No. 25 in Cape Girardeau County, and;
    • A bridge replacement on Route 61 over Erlide Creek in Cape Girardeau County.
  • A $3,159,089 contract was awarded to Plattin Creek Excavating, LLC, for the following bridge replacements in Perry County:
    • A bridge replacement on Route T over Saline Creek, and;
    • A bridge replacement on Route NN over South Fork Saline Creek.
