Ark’s Inaugural Charity Golf Tournament Raises Over $23,000 in Support of STARBASE Minnesota

DULUTH, Minn. - July 12, 2024 - Ark, a Carlyle portfolio company and prominent national provider of data center and cloud infrastructure and services, is proud to announce its Charity Golf Tournament raised $23,137 in donations for STARBASE Minnesota - Duluth. The event, hosted at Nemadji Golf Course, brought tech industry and community leaders together for a day of friendly competition and networking to benefit area youth.

"Ark is proud to host an event aligned with science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education," said Lucas Mistelske, Vice President of Client Experience of Ark. "The funds will help support STARBASE's mission to provide innovative learning opportunities for the next generation of leaders in our community," continued Mistelske, who is also on the STARBASE Board of Directors.

More than 70 golfers participated in the event, which included a scramble-format golf tournament, networking opportunities and a raffle. Presented by Ark, this high-profile event was sponsored by multiple organizations, including Cenovus, Ecolab, APEX, Johnson Mertz, Giant Voices, Story North Productions and ShelDon, among many others who came out to support STARBASE's mission to promote STEM learning.

"The funds raised will help supplement the STEM education we provide to area youth."

Ark's Inaugural Charity Golf Tournament held in Duluth is now one of the cornerstone events of ark Impact, the company's long-standing philanthropic program reflecting its passion and commitment to giving back and driving positive change across its vast network. On a national level, Ark has supported many organizations, including Girls, Inc. and the Women of the Channel Leadership Network.
