Defence Secretary Graces Launch of the Book “National Security: Beyond 2030”
The Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd), attended as the Chief Guest at the launch of the book "National Security: Beyond 2030" authored by Major General Harendra Parakrama Ranasinghe (Retd), held at the Galle Face Hotel in Colombo today (18 March).
The book offers insights into evolving security challenges and strategic considerations for Sri Lanka beyond 2030.
During the ceremony the author presented the first copy of the book to the Defence Secretary, signifying the official launch of the publication.
The Commnder of the Sri Lanka , Serving/Retired Senior Officers from the tri-services and many distinguished guests were present during the ceremony.
