Solid Waste Collection for Independence Day

BLOOMINGTON, IL - Leaves, brush, garden trimmings and bulk will not be picked up, and the Citizen Convenience Center will be closed, on Friday, July 4, for Independence Day. The center will be open on Saturday, July 5. Garbage and recycling will be picked up as scheduled on Friday, July 4.

As a reminder, garbage and recycling carts must be placed in the parkway (typically the area between the sidewalk and the curb) or at the end of the driveway near the street (especially if cars park along the street during the day) no earlier than 2 p.m. on the day prior to scheduled pickup and no later than 6 a.m. on the day of pickup.
