MLGW Construction to Affect Eastbound Traffic on N. Parkway at Manassas

A detour will be in place for three months

MLGW is closing an eastbound section of North Parkway during construction of new underground electric infrastructure. The closure will begin on Friday, February 13, at 8 a.m. and is expected to last approximately three months.

During the closure, eastbound traffic on North Parkway will be detoured at Manassas Street south to Lane Avenue; east on Lane Avenue to Ayers Street; and north on Ayers Street back to North Parkway. In addition, Dunlap Street north of Lane Avenue to North Parkway will be closed to through traffic. Access will remain available for local traffic only.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area, follow posted detour signage and allow additional travel time.
