Commemoration evening dedicated to the 110th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide

On April 22, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Netherlands, H.E. Mr. Viktor Biyagov, attended the commemoration evening in The Hague dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, under the theme "Youth and the Importance of Genocide Education."

At the outset, H.E. Mr. Viktor Biyagov delivered remarks, underscoring the instrumental importance of education in eradicating the threat of genocide, as well as in its prevention and condemnation.

Remarks were also delivered by members of the Dutch Parliament Mr. Don Ceder, Mr. Isa Kahraman, documentary filmmaker Mr. Sinan Can, historian Mr. Dirk Roodzant, and others.

The evening, as well as the accompanying cultural program, was organized with the efforts of the Federation of Armenian Organizations in the Netherlands (FAON).
