Arizonans Already Losing Access to Cancer Screenings & Birth Control Thanks to Agenda Backed by GOP Candidates

A new report from the Arizona Mirror reveals that Planned Parenthood will stop providing cancer screenings and birth control to Arizonans on Medicaid as a direct result of Donald Trump's deeply unpopular budget law that Andy Biggs, Karrin Taylor Robson, and David Schweikert strongly supported.

According to the Arizona Mirror, Planned Parenthood's "decision to stop accepting Medicaid coverage comes as a provision in President Donald Trump's fiscal plan barring abortion providers from receiving Medicaid funding goes into effect Wednesday," ripping life-saving health care away from working families.

Biggs, Taylor Robson, and Schweikert all backed Trump's disastrous budget law that jacks up costs, puts health care in jeopardy for 365,000 Arizonans, and threatens rural hospitals.

"Arizonans are already losing access to cancer screenings and birth control thanks to Donald Trump's disastrous budget law that Andy Biggs, Karrin Taylor Robson, and David Schweikert all proudly supported," said DGA Communications Director Sam Newton. "It's clear that Biggs, Taylor Robson, and Schweikert will spend the next 10 months locked in an all-out fight to the far-right - no matter how much it hurts Arizona families."
