USTelecom Welcomes Jay Cho as Director of Government Affairs

USTelecom - The Broadband Association today announced the hiring of Jay Cho as Director of Government Affairs.
Cho brings more than a decade of policy and advocacy experience across technology, telecommunications and public policy. Most recently, he served as a director of federal government relations for virtualization software developer VMware, where he was recognized by The Hill as a Top Lobbyist in both 2022 and 2023.
Prior to VMware, Cho advanced federal priorities for Verizon Communications in areas including 5G, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies, helping to shape legislation and appropriations language to support innovation and connectivity.
Cho also served in office of Congresswoman Robin Kelly (D-IL) where he advised on issues ranging from broadband to infrastructure and economic development.
