WASHINGTON, District of Columbia, May 18, 2026 - Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) President & CEO Amy Andryszak issued the following statement on the Senate reconfirmation of David LaCerte to serve on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC):

"INGAA congratulates Commissioner David LaCerte on his reconfirmation to FERC. The Commission continues to demonstrate a balanced and pragmatic approach to ensuring the reliable delivery of energy to consumers across the country. As demand for U.S. energy continues to grow, maintaining a full complement of commissioners at FERC is critical to providing regulatory certainty and supporting timely investment in the nation's energy infrastructure.

"America's natural gas pipeline network plays a vital role in delivering affordable, reliable energy to consumers, businesses, manufacturers, and power generators. INGAA and our members look forward to continuing to work with the Commission to advance policies that support a secure, resilient, and modern energy system."
