Remo Mazzoleni Facilitates Trinseo Through Sustainability Reporting Regulations Transition

Sustainability reporting is at a pivotal transition period as companies begin to align with the European Union's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the EU Taxonomy and other ESG disclosure requirements. At Trinseo, ESG Reporting Lead Remo Mazzoleni is helping the company prepare for the new sustainability reporting regulations, supporting the enhancement of our sustainability data and process transparency.

Mazzoleni, who joined the company in 2016 as part of the Finance team, plays a crucial role in Trinseo's ongoing project to align with the CSRD reporting guidelines, which include the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). His collaborative approach has been instrumental in streamlining and optimizing reporting processes and assisting business functions with preparing to meet the requirements. His efforts have established a clear path forward for Trinseo as the company embraces these evolving standards.

"The ESRS work is challenging, but it's also an opportunity to bring teams together and create a unified approach to sustainability," Mazzoleni shared. "It's inspiring to see how people across the company are open to change and ready to collaborate."

This fuels his ongoing dedication to enhancing Trinseo's sustainability strategy for reporting, as well as informs his plans for ESRS alignment.
