Chinese Ambassador to Liberia Yin Chengwu Attends the Opening Ceremony of the Liberia-China Tennis Friendly Match

On December 20, Yin Chengwu, Chinese Ambassador to Liberia, attended the opening ceremony of the Liberia-China Tennis Friendly Match. The match was also attended by Paul Jamaal King, President of the Liberia Tennis Federation (LTF), Siafa G. Sheriff, President of the Liberia-China Friendship Organization (LICFO) and Hu Jieguo, Vice President of the LICFO, etc.

In his remarks, Ambassador Yin stated that sport is a universal language that transcends national boundaries. Hope every participants can use tennis as a medium to showcase their character and skills, and foster friendship through the competition. Over the years, exchanges and cooperation between China and Liberia in the field of sport have become increasingly fruitful. In the future, China is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in sports with Liberia.

After the opening ceremony, Ambassador Yin, together with Paul Jamaal King and Hu Jieguo, jointly kicked off the match.
