The Princeton Review Names Baruch among Nation's Best 392 Colleges

#2 in Northeast for value among public institutions

For the 19th consecutive year, Baruch College has been named one of the nation's top institutions in The Princeton Review's The Best 392 College, a guide based on a survey of more than 172,000 students across the country who shared an inside look at their colleges.

While this annual guidebook lists colleges alphabetically, The Princeton Review publishes rankings in a variety of categories, which Baruch earned top honors.

#1 in New York: Best Career Placements (Public)

Among the 20 highly selected 20 public colleges, Baruch ranked #1 for career placement. The ranking is based on student's ratings of career services combined with Payscale data on alumni starting and mid-career salaries.

#1 in Northeast: Top 20 Best Alumni Networks (Public)

With a global network of more than 185,000 alumni and year-round virtual and in-person networking events, Baruch placed #1 in the Northeast for the strength of its alumni community.

#2 in Northeast: Best Value (Public)

Among public colleges in this eight-state region, Baruch ranked #2 for value. According to The Princeton Review, schools included in this category share "three exceptional features:" stellar academics, affordable costs, and strong career prospects for graduates.

Here's What Students Say About Baruch

Students cited a variety of factors that define the Baruch experience.

With a New York City location, they are taking full advantage of being in the "greatest city in the world." The College offers "impressive career resources", and "amazing career fairs" for direct contact for internships and jobs with "top firms like Bank of America, Citi, Target, and Goldman Sachs."

Students also praised the faculty, noting that professors "have first-hand experience in the material they are teaching." Others highlighted Baruch's active student life, saying there is "an involved student body" and a "sense of community through clubs and extracurriculars."
