CAST AI Advanced Autoscaler Optimizes Compute Resources for Customers Running Cloud-Native Applications on Azure

Customers reduce cloud costs by more than 60 percent, without compromising application availability or performance

CAST AI, the AI-driven cloud optimization company specializing in Kubernetes automation and cost optimization for customers running cloud-native applications, has introduced advanced Autoscaler for AKS. With advanced Autoscaler, customers running cloud-native applications on Azure can analyze their Kubernetes cluster configurations and automatically right-size them to use the most cost-efficient compute resources available, even as workload demands fluctuate over time. The result is immediate cloud cost reduction of more than 65 percent on average.

"CAST AI enabled us to see how our cluster was configured in just a matter of minutes," said Alex Potter-Dixon, Head of DevOps, Phlexglobal. "But where the technology is truly transformative is in its ability to optimize our cluster and keep it optimized over time. As a matter of fact, CAST AI continuously configures our cluster over time, always finding the optimal balance of high performance at the lowest possible cost."

CAST AI is built on top of advanced heuristics and Machine Learning algorithms, providing customers with a detailed analysis of their current cluster configuration within minutes. CAST AI also determines what compute resources are needed for an optimized cluster based on real-time cloud inventory availability, and then it provisions those resources automatically, continuously right-sizing to the most cost-efficient option possible. Customers typically transition to an optimized state in just a few minutes, and experience no impact to application availability or performance.

"We're thrilled to provide our Azure customers with advanced Autoscaler," said Laurent Gil, chief product officer at CAST AI. "Together with AWS and Google Cloud functionality, CAST AI is well positioned to offer cost optimization and autonomous Kubernetes operations to customers across all major cloud providers. As a result, interest in our platform continues to accelerate exponentially. "
