Sixth Annual Kids Connect Community Celebration to Offer Fun and Learning

The Merced County Department of Child Support Services will host its sixth annual "Kids Connect Community Celebration" event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 19 at Margaret Sheehy Elementary School, located at 1240 W. Sixth Street in Merced. Our theme this year is "Literacy."

Aligned with Child Support Awareness Month, this family-centered event brings community partners, clubs, and organizations together in a fun and safe place for families to learn about the services and resources offered throughout Merced County. The day will include visits from local dignitaries, entertainment, refreshments, and kid-friendly activities. Please see the attached flier for more information.

Free backpacks and school supplies will be available while supplies last. There will also be several free raffle prizes at the event.
