The American College of Poultry Veterinarians (ACPV)-a veterinary specialty organization recognized by the AVMA American Board of Veterinary Specialties-held its annual breakfast meeting on July 31 in Portland, Oregon.

The online platform for administering the examination has continued to be a success for both certification candidates and for those grading the examination. The 2025 ACPV workshop in Calgary, Alberta, was well received by attendees and a proposal for the 2026 workshop titled "Optimizing Poultry Health from the Hatchery to the Field: A Holistic Approach" was approved by the board of governors.
