Lancaster PARCS Department Announces One-Day Summer Hiring Event

Lancaster, CA. February 26, 2026 - The City of Lancaster's Parks, Arts, Recreation and Community Services (PARCS) Department is now hiring for summer positions and will host a one-day hiring event on March 6 at the Lancaster Community Center (LCC), 44611 Yucca Ave.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with three interview sessions offered throughout the day. Applicants must apply online in advance to be considered.

The PARCS Department is seeking enthusiastic, reliable individuals to serve as Recreational Program Leaders for the summer season. These positions offer a rewarding opportunity to gain hands-on experience, support youth programs, and make a positive impact in the Lancaster community.

Applicants must be 16 years or older. Those under 18 will need to obtain a valid work permit if selected for hire.

Step 2: A member of the City's Talent Team will contact qualified applicants to schedule them for one of the available interview sessions on March 6.
