Baker McKenzie Expands Global M&A and Energy Capabilities with Partner Addition in Budapest

Global law firm Baker McKenzie is pleased to announce the addition of Tamás Szkiba as a partner in its Budapest office. Tamás' arrival highlights the Firm's commitment to providing best-in-class transactional advice to clients globally.

Tamás joins from DLA Piper and brings over a decade of experience in complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. His practice has a particular focus on the energy sector, including both renewable and traditional energy transactions. Tamás also has significant expertise in the financial services and defense sectors, where he has advised on major corporate reorganizations and other strategic initiatives. At his previous firm, he also played a key role in developing the transactional insurance practice, building strong relationships with insurers and brokers throughout the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region.
