Weekly Wrap for Sept. 20

The Santa Fe Watershed Association will begin a week-long Watershed Fest 2024to honor the health and vibrancy of the Santa Fe watershed today with the SFWA Legacy Walk and Talk at San Isidro Park from 4-5:30 pm today.

The free event is the first of a week-long series of events that continue from 9 am-noon Saturday with the annual Toos No Mas Community Cleanup. Click hereto register for the free event.

From 9:30 am-1 pm Sept. 21 is the Day of Awesome at La Farge Library. The free event welcomes all ages for an Elm Thinning Workshop from 9:30-11:30 am. Click here for the required registration.

Please bring work clothes, shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and a water bottle. Gloves, trash bags and tools will be provided.

The Fest continues with a Film Night at the Center for Contemporary Arts from 5:30-7:30 pm. 'Springs of Life: The Wonderful Wetlands of La Cienega' will be held from 9-11 am Sept. 26 at the Lenora Curtin Wetland Preserve. A Watershedders happy hour will be held from 4:30-7 pm Sept. 26 at Tumbleroot on Agua Fria Street.
