Posted in: Press Release

Mobile, Ala. - To accommodate a major drainage improvement project in the Cromwell Place neighborhood, Emogene Street at Hogans Lane will be completely closed for approximately one week.

Drivers traveling east or west can avoid the closure by using either S. Florida Street or S. Sage Avenue to access Dauphin Street. Residents who live along Emogene Street will still be able to access their homes and driveways.

After work on Emogene Street is completed, Hogans Lane will be closed to accommodate the next phase of the project.

The project will improve drainage, help reduce the impacts of flooding, and strengthen long-term infrastructure resilience in the Cromwell Place neighborhood. A map of the suggested detour is attached.
