Public Works crews resuming regular collection for leaves, brush, trimmings, and bulk

BLOOMINGTON, IL - Public Works Department crews have finished collecting bulk for the Fall 2025 Free Bulk Pickup. Spring and fall free bulk pickups are offered at no additional charge to customers of Bloomington's Solid Waste Program.

Those who did not place items out during the pickup have the option of taking items to the Citizen Convenience Center at no additional charge or setting items out behind the curb for regular leaf, brush, trimmings, and $25-per-loader-bucket bulk collection, according to the 2025 Leaves, Brush, Trimmings, and Bulk Calendar. During regular pickup, these materials are collected on the opposite week that recycling is collected.
