Firm's local teams continue growth, hold top market share while serving clients through integration with Synovus

Jacksonville, Fla., Sept. 23, 2026 - Pinnacle Financial Partners, which merged with Synovus in 2026, achieved double-digit pro forma combined deposit growth in both Jacksonville and Orlando, reaching the top 10 in market share for the first time in the Jacksonville MSA, according to FDIC deposit data as of June 30, 2026.

In the central and northern parts of the state, Pinnacle has $5.9 billion in deposits across seven MSAs and ranks among the top 20 biggest banks by deposit market share in all of them. The firm also continued to grow statewide, reaching $12.2 billion in deposits and ranking No. 16, with 1.4% market share.

The firm's Jacksonville market saw pro forma combined deposit growth of 38%, rising to No. 10 in market share. In the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford MSA, the firm's deposits grew by 19% over the previous year on a pro forma combined basis, placing Pinnacle at No. 11.

  • Pinnacle moved up in rank and is within striking distance of the top 10 as No. 10 on the list lost 25% of its local deposits in the period.

  • No. 10 by deposits with $2.4 billion
  • 1.8% market share
  • $63 million added
  • 3% pro forma combined growth
  • Pinnacle's deposits in the Tampa MSA have grown by $554 million since July 1, 2024.

Tallahassee

  • No. 9 by deposits with $323 million
  • 3.9% market share

  • Despite net deposit losses, Pinnacle climbed one spot in the rankings.

Deltona-Daytona Beach - Ormond Beach

Across Pinnacle's footprint, the firm grew deposits in 39 MSAs measured by the FDIC and gained share in 29. The firm holds the No. 1 position in six markets across the Southeast, including Nashville, Tennessee, and Columbus, Georgia, and is top 3 in 15 markets. In Nashville, Pinnacle is the No. 1 bank by deposits with $22.7 billion, and in Atlanta, No. 4 with $17.1 billion.

These results come during Pinnacle's first year as a combined company following its January 2026 merger with Synovus. Throughout integration, local financial advisors have continued to serve clients and pursue new relationships while dedicated teams work on the operational integration behind the scenes.

At the same time, local leaders have kept Pinnacle's recruiting engine running, with 45 new revenue-producing team members hired in Florida, including Jacksonville, Orlando and Tallahassee, through July 15, 2026, adding even more experienced financial professionals with deep local relationships and expertise.
