Man Arrested for Sexually Assaulting a Minor

On January 8, 2025, 32-year-old Trevon Lyle was arrested in relation to a sexual assault investigation conducted by the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office Sexual and Elder Abuse Bureau (SEAB). The victim, a minor, reported that Lyle had sexually assaulted her in multiple instances over a period of time.

Lyle was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on three counts of Unlawful Sexual Intercourse with a minor who is more than three years younger than the assailant. He posted bond on his $50,000 bail the next day and was released from custody. Lyle is scheduled to appear in court on January 10.

Through Lyle's employment, Detectives are concerned that he had access to numerous other potential unreported victims.
