New York State Oral Health Coalition Annual Meeting
The NYS Oral Health Coalition will host its 2025 Annual Meeting on Thursday, October 16 (9:00 am-3:30 pm EDT), bringing together leaders and advocates to tackle pressing oral health equity challenges. Learn more and register HERE.
Theme: Policy Shifts and Workforce Strategy for Oral Health Equity: Making Sense of Change, Building What's Next.
Keynotes include Kasey Wilson (Community Catalyst) on federal threats and opportunities for oral health, and Lara Kassel (Medicaid Matters NY) on implications of federal cuts to New York's Medicaid program. The interactive program features sessions on early childhood oral health, workforce strategies, state policy updates, and front-line worker training, with dynamic breakout discussions.
Two awards will be presented: the Dr. Thomas Curran Fluoridation Awardand the Dr. Elmer Green Award. Nominations are open (details on the Coalition website). Continuing education credits are provided by the New York Dental Hygienists' Association, with additional credits in development.
