On Sunday, August 9, 2026, Claudia Grandy's vehicle was located in rural Skamania County, Washington. Since then, the county has conducted two search and rescue operations. Unfortunately, Grandy was not located.
While there are no signs of foul play at this time, PPB is still seeking the public's help. Anyone who sees Grandy is urged to call 911. Anyone with information that is not time sensitive is asked to email the Portland Police Missing Persons Unit at [email protected] and reference case number 26-223724.

PPB Seeks Public's Help Locating Missing Endangered Woman
The Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public's help locating a missing endangered woman. Claudia Grandy, 78, of Portland, was last seen at her residence in the 7600 block of Southeast Alder Street in the Montavilla Neighborhood on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Her family reports that she has cognitive decline but is otherwise physically fit. Grandy left her cellphone at home, and her vehicle is also missing.
Grandy is described as a white female, 5 feet 2 inches tall and approximately 150 pounds. She has pierced ears and a mole on one ear. Her family reports that she generally stays close to home, but she is known to visit Mt. Tabor Park. Grandy may be driving a silver Nissan Rogue displaying Oregon license plate 915NQC.
Anyone who sees Grandy or her vehicle is asked to call 911. Anyone with information that is not time sensitive is asked to email the Portland Police Missing Persons Unit at [email protected] and reference case number 26-223724.
