Alex Eickhoff Earns October Golfer of the Month Honors

For the second month in a row, SIUE has a Golfer of the Month in the Ohio Valley Conference. Alex Eickhoff has earned co-Golfer of the Month honors for October.
Eickhoff played in a pair of tournaments in October. He finished seventh at the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational while leading SIUE with a 215 (-1). Eickhoff led the Cougars again at Little Rock's Everett Buick GMC Classic, where he finished 11th of 92 golfers at 213 (-3). Four of Eickhoff's six rounds were under par.
Southern Indiana's Jason Bannister shared the October award with Eickhoff.
Eickhoff is third in the OVC in scoring average (71.0).
