Mayor Parker to Attend Kingsessing Recreation Center Ribbon Cutting
Time: 3:00 p.m.
Location: Kingsessing Recreation Center, 4901 Kingsessing Avenue, Philadelphia, PA
The Mayor will join the Capital Program Office to cut the ribbon on the $27 million Kingsessing Recreation Center, a Rebuild project that has already earned one preservation award and is nominated for several more.
The project is part of a $35 million investment in the Kingsessing campus, which also includes the Kingsessing Library.

Mayor Parker to Join Philadelphia Masjid's Eid Celebration
Time: 4:00 p.m.
Location: Philadelphia Masjid, 4700 Wyalusing Avenue Philadelphia, PA
This makes the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting. The Eid Mubarak celebration will include special prayers, family and community gathering and meal sharing.
