Chief Justice Christensen delivers Condition of Judiciary address

On Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. in the House Chambers, Chief Justice Susan Larson Christensen of the Iowa Supreme Court addressed a joint convention of the General Assembly on the Condition of the Judiciary.

The theme of her fifth Condition of the Judiciary speech focused on commitment. She covered topics including access to justice, modernization of Iowa's magistrate system, judicial pay, and indigent defense.
