Bethel Assistance Hub to Remain Closed Today, February 13 Due to Extreme Weather

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The Bethel Assistance Hub, supporting Alaskans impacted by October's West Coast Storms will remain closed today, February 13 due to extreme weather conditions. An announcement will be made once the Bethel Assistance Hub reopens.

When the Bethel hub is open, FEMA staff will be available to help survivors apply for disaster assistance, answer questions and upload required documents. The hub is normally open from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m.
to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

If you're unable to visit the hub and still need FEMA assistance, there are other ways to apply:

  • Register online at DisasterAssistance.gov.
  • Use the FEMA App.
  • Call the Alaska Call Center at 1-866-342-1699 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and
    10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Survivors are encouraged to register for both state and FEMA Individual Assistance programs to maximize their recovery benefits. To apply for state Individual Assistance, visit https://ready.alaska.gov/ or call 1-844-445-7131. The deadline for both state and FEMA Individual Assistance programs is Feb. 20, 2026.

Small Business Administration
The U.S. Small Business Administration offers low-interest disaster loans to homeowners, renters, businesses and nonprofits. For more information call 1-800-659-2955, apply online at sba.gov/disaster or visit the Disaster Loan Outreach Center located at the Bethel City Hall at 300 Chief Eddie Hoffman Hwy. from Monday through Friday,
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The deadline to apply for physical damage has also been extended to Feb. 20, 2026.
