What to Do

Art lovers will delight in London's incredible collection of museums, including Tate Modern, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the National Gallery.

There's also no shortage of national landmarks thanks to the city's royal history. During the summer, Buckingham Palace's State Rooms are open to visitors, offering a rare glimpse inside the monarch's official London residence. At the Tower of London, centuries of royal history come to life alongside the Crown Jewels and legendary Yeoman Warder tours.

For a spot of shopping, browse the flagship stores along world-famous Oxford Street or explore the elegant boutiques of Regent Street. Then wander through Covent Garden, where the historic market is filled with artisan goods, jewelry, artwork and unique gifts, alongside street performers and lively cafés.

When it's time for a meal, London's dining scene spans just about every cuisine imaginable, from a traditional full English breakfast to award-winning Indian restaurants in Mayfair and Soho.
