UAA T&F caps strong weekend in California

Jessica Chisar ran 2:07.98 in the 800, the second fastest time ever at the University of Alaska Anchorage, at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic Saturday. The time ranks eighth all-time in GNAC history.

Avrey Campbell ran 1:03.08 in the 400 hurdles, the sixth-fastest time in school history, and 15.79 in the 100 hurdles.

Tyler Drake ran 15.13 in the 110 hurdles, the seventh-fastest time in school history, and 58.31 in the 400 hurdles. He long jumped 6.78/22-3.

In the men's 10,000, Edgar Vera ran 31:29.72, Ben Browning 31:30.53 and Sam Roy 32:48.08.

Ryann Smith ran 2:12.08 in the 800, followed by Lucia Garcia in 2:16.38 and Lilli Lindner 2:18.62.

The men's 800 featured Ethan Ackroyd running 1:54.42, Tony Ruiz 1:55.22 and Stephen Zukowski 1:58.29.

Liv Heite ran 14.08 in the 100 hurdles and 1:01.56 in the 400 hurdles.

Blanca De Arvizu Sarrias ran 14.69 in the 100 hurdles and 1:05.25 in the 400 hurdles.

Mya Campbell ran 26.59 in the 200, 16.60 in the 100 hurdles and long jumped 5.67/18-7.75.

McKinley Eddington ran 17.00 in the 100 hurdles, and Gracie Miotke ran 1:05.86 in the 400 hurdles.

Ethan Stiller ran 50.40 in the 400 and 22.78 in the 200.

Seth Cupper ran 22.91 in the 200, 11.32 in the 100 and long jumped 6.21/20-4.5.

Jason Lorig ran 10.97 in the 100 and 22.92 in the 200.

Brian Morris ran 11.13 in the 100 and 22.26 in the 200.

Eric Bushnell threw the discus 44.77/146-10.

Alaska Anchorage will compete at the John Knight Invite April 10-11.
