Upcoming student financial aid changes

Boise State is transitioning from PeopleSoft Campus Solutions to Oracle's Student Financial Aid (SFA). As part of this project, Boise State is preparing for a shift in how students access and manage their financial aid. In mid-November, students will have access to a new financial aid portal for the 2026-27 academic year. We want to let you know about these changes as your support will be essential in guiding students through this transition.

Why are we changing?

The SFA project will improve both back-office work and student outcomes to create a modernized digital experience for all users through faster processing and reduced administrative burden. This directly supports university goals of increasing enrollment and student retention while ensuring that financial aid processes remain robust, secure, compliant and aligned with future needs.

What do students need to know?

• Navigate to the portal: The new financial aid portal will be accessible via Campus Solutions. This portal will be the central hub for all financial aid activities.
• Access their information: Students will log in to Campus Solutions as normal using their Boise State credentials. In mid-November, when they select the 2026-27 financial aid year, they'll be able to view their financial aid status and required actions.
• Sign required agreements: Before accessing aid details, students will be prompted to electronically sign:
  • the Electronic Information Agreement
  • the FERPA Statement
• Submit documents: The portal will display tasks related to verification documents and forms. Encourage students to submit pending documents as soon as possible.

What is happening to Campus Solutions?

Campus Solutions/PeopleSoft modules will remain functional for all areas besides financial aid.

How will my department get our financial aid data from Campus Solutions in the future?

The project includes updating integrations with SFA. You can count on integrations and data continuing to flow with your department.

What is changing for students?

Starting in mid-November, students will access their SFA Student Portal through their current Campus Solutions portal. The SFA Student Portal will have an updated look and feel and will be more user friendly.
