Soil Conservation Services During Federal Government Shutdown

As a partnering agency based out of the USDA Service Center in Marion, the Linn County Soil Conservation Department relies heavily on our USDA partner for office space, and a variety of physical and technical resources needed to work with landowners, agricultural producers, and the public upon request. While the federal government is shutdown, the USDA Service Center is closed and access to technical resources is limited. However, partnering staff in the Soil Conservation Department are available and can be reached by Linn County emails or by phone.

While state and federal cost share programs, technical support, and other resource-based services have been impacted by the federal government shutdown and are largely unavailable, please contact the Linn County Soil Conservation Department for services we may still be able to provide.
