(TOWN OF MAINE, NY) - Broome County is welcoming the return of daily air service from Delta Air Lines between the Greater Binghamton Airport (BGM) and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), beginning May 7, 2026.
"We're grateful to Governor Hochul and Senator Schumer for their support in helping restore this service to BGM," said Broome County Executive Jason Garnar. "I encourage the community to take advantage of this service and consider flying out of BGM whenever possible so we can continue to grow and expand air service in the future."
The restored service will feature a 70-seat regional jet operating one daily flight, reconnecting Broome County to one of Delta's busiest hubs. Detroit serves as a key Midwest gateway, offering travelers convenient access to a wide range of domestic and international connections.
The current schedule includes a mid-day arrival into Binghamton at approximately 1:45 p.m., with a return departure to Detroit at approximately 2:30 p.m.
