Update about Summit Medical Group

A statement from Dalya Qualls White, SVP and chief communications officer at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee:

Summit Medical Group has notified us of their intent to terminate their contract with BlueCross as part of our ongoing negotiations - a routine process in the healthcare industry. The current agreement with Summit remains in place through December 31, 2025, so there is no immediate impact to our members' ability to see their Summit providers. We value the care Summit clinicians provide and remain committed to working toward a resolution that supports affordability and access for the East Tennessee communities we serve.
