David Benichou Joins Goldman Sachs as Partner and Co-Head of Investment Banking in France, Belgium and Luxembourg

PARIS, July 1, 2026 - The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE: GS) today announced that David Benichou has joined the firm as a Partner in Investment Banking and Co-Head of Investment Banking for France, Belgium and Luxembourg.

In his role, David will be based in Paris and co-head Investment Banking for France, Belgium and Luxembourg alongside Céline Méchain, who will continue to co-head the Paris office with Marc d'Andlau. His appointment further strengthens the firm's ability to serve the strategic advisory, financing and capital markets needs of clients across the region.

David will work closely with Céline and Anne Bizien, Chief Operating Officer of Investment Banking for France, Belgium and Luxembourg, to lead the business as Goldman Sachs continues to grow its leading franchise in the region.

David brings more than two decades of investment banking expertise to the firm and most recently spent 22 years at Morgan Stanley, where he served as Head of Investment Banking France. Prior to that, he worked in Investment Banking at Credit Suisse.

David earned a degree from École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris.
