Statement by the HREU on the alignment of certain countries with Council implementing Decision concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in the Democratic[...]

On 17 March 2025, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2025/510¹.

The Council decided that nine persons and one entity should be added to the list of natural or legal persons, entities and bodies set out in Annex II to Decision 2010/788/CFSP.

Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Republic of Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine align themselves with this Council Decision.

They will ensure that their national policies conform to this Council Decision.

The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it.
