2026 Board of Directors Election: Sept. 21 through Oct. 21

 The 2026 Brewers Association (BA) Board of Directors election runs from Sept. 21 through Oct. 21.

Voting members of the association may vote via online ballot. Voting member criteria are small and independent brewers, as described by the BA's bylaws, who are members in good standing.

Three 3-year board positions are open: two for the packaging brewer class and one for the brewpub & taproom brewer class. Positions start in February 2027.

Voting Guidelines

• Only one ballot per member brewing company will be counted (NOT one vote per location).
• Each voting member brewery can vote in only one category. If you are unsure which category is correct, you can vote in both. We will review your ballot and retain the vote in the single correct category. Only votes in your voting membership class will count.
• Voting member criteria are described by the BA bylaws (no brewers producing more than 6 million barrels/year, breweries-in-planning, suppliers, etc.).

The Board of Directors governs the activities of the BA and its divisions - Events, Government Affairs, Marketing & Communications, Membership, and Operations.

Which class should I vote in?

The BA recognizes two voting classes. Please vote in the class that best represents your craft brewery. If you're not sure which class you belong to, please vote in both categories and BA staff will retain the vote in only the correct one.

• Packaging brewers are defined as those who sell 75% or more of their production outside of the brewery and produce six million barrels or less annually.

• Brewpub & taproom brewers are defined as brewers that sell more than 25% of their beer onsite and produce six million barrels or less annually.
