Toyota Announces North American Manufacturing Operations and Executive Changes

PLANO, Texas (May 14, 2025) - As it prepares for the future of mobility, TMNA today announced changes to its manufacturing operations designed to better serve its customers, drive continued growth, and advance its commitment to building where it sells. As a result, the operations will be comprised of three strategic pillars: Manufacturing Business Operations, Manufacturing Operations, and Production Engineering. In addition, manufacturing plants will be divided into seven regions driven by complexity, scope and size.

To support this new structure, the following executive changes are effective May 19, 2025.

Manufacturing Business Operations

• As previously announced, Stephen Brennan was promoted to senior vice president, Manufacturing Business Operations, and executive safetyofficer.Brennan is responsible formanufacturing strategy, including EV supply, project management and advanced planning, digital technology, production efficiency development and safety, environmental and facilities operations. Brennan reportsto Takefumi Shiga, executive vice president, Manufacturing.
• Kerry Creech, president of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky (TMMK), has been assigned group vice president, Manufacturing Region 1 (TMMK) in addition to his role as president, reporting to Stephen Brennan.

Manufacturing Operations

• Kevin Voelkel, senior vice president, Vehicle Plants, takes on additional responsibilities as senior vice president, Manufacturing Operations. In this role, Voelkel is responsible for all of Toyota's vehicle and unit plants in North America.
• Jason Puckett, president, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Alabama (TMMAL), has been assigned group vice president, Manufacturing Region 2 and will assume the role of president, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana (TMMI). In this role, Puckett will lead TMMI and oversee Region 2, which also includes Toyota Motor Manufacturing Missouri and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Tennessee. Puckett will report to Voelkel.
• Tim Hollander, president, TMMI, has been assigned group vice president, Manufacturing Region 3 (Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada) and will assume the role of president, TMMC. Hollander will report to Voelkel.
• Frank Voss, president, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada (TMMC), has been assigned group vice president, Manufacturing Region 4 and the role of president, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas (TMMTX). In this role, Voss will lead TMMTX and oversee Region 4, which also includes Toyota Motor Manufacturing Guanajuato, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Baja California, and TABC. Voss will report to Voelkel.
• David Rosier, president, Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia (TMMWV), has been assigned group vice president, Manufacturing Region 5. He will continue his role as president of TMMWV and oversee Region 5, which also includes TMMAL and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Mississippi. Rosier will report to Voelkel.
• David Fernandes, senior vice president, Mazda Toyota Manufacturing (MTM), has been assigned group vice president, Manufacturing Region 6 (MTM), and will continue his role as senior vice president of MTM. Fernandes will report to Voelkel.
• Don Stewart, vice president, Manufacturing, Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina (TBMNC), has been promoted to group vice president, Manufacturing Region 7 (TBMNC), and president of TBMNC. Stewart will report to Voelkel.
• Sean Suggs, president, TBMNC, will retire on June 6.
• Marc Perry, general manager, Manufacturing, has been promoted to president, TMMAL. Perry will report to Rosier.

Production Engineering

• As previously announced, Susann Kazunas was promoted to group vice president, Production Engineering and executive engineering officer. In this role, Kazunas will lead new product launches in Toyota's North American manufacturing facilities. Kazunas will report to Shiga and transition out of her role as president, TMMTX.
